...is the exact number of pounds over a hundred that I happen to weigh at the moment (ugh). It's also the exact number of pounds I weighed when I birthed my one and only child nearly thirteen years ago.
But more importantly, it's the number of pure lovin' pup-dog poundage that has plopped her freckled haunches right smack dab into the middle of our lives.
Yep, 51 pounds of paws and ears is a serious love machine...
51 pounds of liver and white is one heckuva lap dog...
51 pounds of gas and snores eats a LOT of doggie food, steals treats from Ruby the Super Pom, and can fly on the tips of her toes from one end of my house to the other in approximately three seconds flat.
51 pounds of squirrel sniffing, chicken charging, feline chasing puppy power makes having a cat door obsolete... ain't no cat of mine coming into this house any time soon (much to Big Dave's delight and my consternation.)
But I guess I love her to pieces.
51 pounds of Shady Lady, especially when she leans into me and looks up with those endless golden eyes, makes me smile. She's such a character... a big ol' floppy eared, Frito funkified, wet nosed clowny pants.
Good dog Shady.
She's a very nice dog.

I guess that makes you all '51 pounds lucky!' :) She is very sweet looking, and I am sure with her history a loving dog.
BTW, I happen to weigh what I weighed when I had each of my four kids...not happy about it so I'm dieting...just want you to know you don't look 151. :)
Enjoy your day!
Rhonda :)
