I've got some MAJOR excitement happening here in Dhuland... three momentous things have happened to me in the past two days. It's true.
1.) I ate a dutch chocolate BACON cupcake.
2.) My hottie neighbor (who happens to be where I got the cupcake from) allowed me to stuff my DRY CLEAN ONLY kingsized comforter into her oversized washer and dryer. And it DID NOT shrink to the size of a postage stamp. (I told you this was some MAJOR excitement.)
So now my bedroom doesn't smell like a giant dog bed (otherwise known as Dog-Ass-Frito-Funk.)
And last but not least.... drumroll please....
3.) I painted BEHIND my refrigerator. Uh huh, that's right folks... no more cream curd paint peeking out from around the sides of the fridge.
Now that's some dog diggity excitement isn't it???? Heck, and I didn't even talk about the bags of mulch I bought at Walmart or the fact that I've come to the bitter realization that wasps are somehow or another sneaking into my home. (Fireplace? A/C vent? Cat door?)
Or that Big Dave got so excited about shooting a turkey that he snapped a photo of it with his phone, and then proceeded to leave said phone on his tailgate, drive off and discover that it had been run over by a dump truck. (Why is there a dump truck in the forest? Hmm... interesting question. I do not know.)
And then the phone STILL worked, but the screen was busted. AND THEN it fell out of his holster and was lost forever in the great wide world of the DiLane Wildlife Management Area. The end.
So... {total change of subject} ... let's have some scrapbook show and tell shall we? (I'll call this the 'two-pager' edition.)
I used the old Heidi Swapp acrylic paint for the brown letters...
And this was the last one I did on pina colada night (you can kinda tell...)
And this is one of Kristine's (who we've now decided is the master of cramming five gozillion photos on a two page spread and STILL have room for embellishments)...
And then a nice streamlined one from Deiha...
Okay... I'm off to muster up some more excitement around here and give you a few minutes to get your heart rate back to normal. Woooooweeee... I can only imagine what will happen next.
Clean the bathrooms?
Wipe the fingerprints off the tv?
Download the new song by The Cars?
Stay tuned for another ACTION PACKED post!
1) I believe it was D who discovered the wasp situation - but of course I can't blame you for trying to avoid that truth.
2) I'm glad the washing thing worked out (told you so).
3)Congrats! on the behind the frig painting - you didn't do the floor while it was moved out?
4) Why WAS there a dump truck in the forest?
5) I notice no grooviness in any of the layouts. hmmmm?

I did not notice the cream curd. You probably could have left it.
So ya had more wasps come in? Yikes.
