The paint brushes are back in the garage, and the sewing needles are at rest. There's still a rug to buy, a faucet to install, and bedding for the bunkroom to choose, but for now my lovely Bertha has been beautified.
Awwwww... she's SOOOO cool!
Sid came over and installed the window ties for the drapes, and I got the cabinet pulls painted, so now the dinette is complete.
BEFORE:
AFTER:
I'm sorry, I just can't quit squealing every time I look at the fun colors and patterns...
Here's the old view of the couch/living room:
Here's the new:
(Minus the redneck... but his hat's there to represent.)
I guess I didn't get a before pic of the master bedroom, but let's just say it was more of the same camper tan, camper mauve and camper boring. I painted the back wall black for some pizazz, and added the same neutral off white to the rest of the walls as I put in the living room.
I want some colorful throw pillows and maybe a big furry heart on the black wall (kidding) to add some sass, but for now, she's fresh and clean looking.
The kitchen still needs a cork backsplash and faucet, but here's the before (so far):
And after:
Big Dave's changed out all the gaskets and stuff on the holding tanks, re-sealed the roof, siliconed all the windows and doors, and we finally got to unroll the awning to make sure it works...
... a few rips here and there from sitting out in the weather, but nothing some super duper tarp repair tape can't fix up for the time being.
So, I'm still shopping for an indoor rug, bunkroom bedding, and a faucet, but other than that, I think we're about ready to roll. I'm so excited about our inaugural camping trip to Elijah Clark State Park at the end of the month!
It looks amazing!
